Encoder Types
The type of encoder (incremental or absolute) is switch selectable and takes effect on all encoder ports. Two LED display the current mode (INCR or SSI)
Power
The power is switch selectable, either +5V/2.5A or +24V/1A and also takes effect on all encoder ports. Two LED display the current selected Voltage (5V or 24V)

  • IO0 is used to generate CLK+ 1..4
  • IO1 is used to generate CLK- 1..4
  • IO2 is used to generate CLK+ 5..8
  • IO3 is used to generate CLK+ 5..8
  • IO4 and IO5 are available on a double LEMO connector on the front panel
  • The SLS 2020 Universal MAXv Transition Module is not compatible with the SLS 2018 Encoder Interface.
  • The SLS 2020 Universal MAXv Transition Module is not compatible with the Kramert ECM-505 Encoder Module.
  • Encoders wired for the Kramert ECM-505 Encoder Module can not be directly plugged into the SLS 2020 Universal MAXv Transition Module, they require an adapter.
