The Stepping Motor Driver Unit is a 19" rack with eight stepping motor drivers and one IO (computer interface) module. It is designed to work together with the VME OMS-58 or MAXv-8000 Intelligent Motor Controller. However the modular design allows for the use of other interfaces and controllers. Each of the eight motor channels is completely independent. All parameters can be set with DIP switches from the front panel of each motor driver.
